Happy Anniversary

Alex and I are both very lucky to have the foundation set for us by both our parents. The Sodorff's are celebrating 39 years, The Rountree's are celebrating 40 years and we are celebrating our 8th year. We had a great surprise dinner with the Rountree's to celebrate with them and we look forward to a celebration with the Sodorff's in a year for their 40th.

I look forward to each anniversary with Alex because it is a great time for us to reflect on what makes our marriage work, learn from the past and look forward to the future. We have found a true partner in life together. I feel so lucky that my husband is also my friend. He knows me in a way that no one else does. He can sense when I need a good laugh, a good cry, or a good listener. We have a friendship that has grown and changed through the years just as our marriage has, just as we have. Not every couple can say that. With Alex, I've found a once-in-a-lifetime friendship and a once-in-a-lifetime love. He is the friend I want, the Husband I need, the reason I have so much to look forward to in life.
